Out Tha Box Productions presents Spotlight Theater Summer Camp, a month-long immersive experience where young artists explore culture, creativity, and community through the performing arts.

🌿 This Year’s Theme: Tiana’s Bayou

Inspired by New Orleans culture and the 20-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, our theme is not just about the story of The Princess and the Frog—it’s about resilience, rhythm, and the power of community. Campers will engage in storytelling, music, and movement that honors and celebrates the spirit of the bayou.

🗓️ Daily Schedule Highlights

Mornings:

• 🍳 Cooking with Chef Keisha Hubbard

• 🧪 Participate in STEM From Dance Club

• 💼 Crafts & Youth Entrepreneurship (Making tie-dye, bracelets, and candles!)

• 🛒 Food Pantry Volunteer Program (Wednesdays)

Afternoons:

• 💃🏾 Performing Arts Intensives — dance, acting, music, and movement

• 🎤 Preparation for our end-of-camp showcase performance on June 27th

Campers will also participate in a special community performance at the Austin African American Book Festival on June 28!
