About Us

Out Tha Box Productions is a nonprofit performing arts organization dedicated to empowering Black and Brown youth through dance, theater, music, and visual arts. Founded in Austin, Texas, we believe that every young person deserves a safe, inclusive space to discover and express their unique creative potential. Our programs celebrate cultural identity and creativity, encouraging youth to embrace their talents and share their voices with confidence. At Out Tha Box, we’re breaking barriers and redefining what it means to create art by and for communities of color.

Our Mission

To provide affordable, high-quality arts education for Black and Brown youth in Central Texas, fostering a safe and affirming space where they can thrive, express themselves, and expand their horizons in the performing arts.

Our Vision

We envision a future where Black and Brown youth can access vibrant, inclusive spaces for arts education without financial or social barriers. By empowering young artists and amplifying diverse voices, we’re building a legacy that will impact the arts community for generations.
